In multiple choice questions you can add maximum capacities, either per the question or for the answer options within the question. The same principle applies to all multiple choice question types: 

• Multiple choice (choose many)
• Multiple choice (choose one)
• Drop-down menu
• Quantity

When creating a Quantity question, you can also determine how many of each option one participant is able to select. For further instructions on how to create a Quantity question, click here.

Capacities can be set:

• A) for all the options in total, i.e. the question or
• B) per option. Click on the hyphen in -, enter a capacity, click on the small Save button underneath. Remember to save the actual question as well.

Define capacity

When creating/editing a question, in Settings > Manage capacity > Type of capacity, select:

• Option's capacity "There's room for 20 participants in the first workshop, and for 15 in the second one".
  • Now click the dash "-" in the Capacity column, enter the capacity and save.
    
• Question's capacity "There's room for 35 people in all the workshops in total"
  • Enter the capacity in the field below.
    

Finally, save the whole question.
