Lyyti doesn't know if you are simply testing a payment in a chargeable event and when it is the real deal. For this reason, payments, for example online bank payments cannot be tested free of charge. Also paper invoices are automatically sent via post.

How to test a payment

To test the payment feature, choose PDF invoice as a payment method (if it is enable for you). However, since every "test" invoice is still a real invoice for Lyyti, you need to create a credit note for such payments in Finance, so you don't end up with unnecessary open invoices. Please not that these "test" invoices and credit notes are also subject to a charge.

Testing without payments

To test the registration process without payments, do not define any of your chargeable questions mandatory. This way you can go through the registration process without selecting any chargeable items. When the registration is complete, you can mark all necessary questions as mandatory.

Participant cancellation

In chargeable events, participants cannot cancel their participation. This is because cancellation often requires refunding registration fees, which is not an automated process in Lyyti. In refund cases, you can agree with the participant as to how you can refund them their money and to which bank account (invoices).
