This feature can be used with the following license packs: Starter, Basic, Professional, Enterprise
Use Lyyti to sell tickets for your events and deliver the tickets automatically with the confirmation message. This feature can be used both in chargeable and non-chargeable events. If you have a non-chargeable event, the ticket looks the same, it just won't show any pricing information.
The ticketing feature can be enabled on the Confirmation page.
- The ticket identifier can be either a QR code or a normal barcode. Lyyti's QR codes can only be read with Lyyti's own mobile application, found on your mobile store. To read barcodes you would need a separate barcode reader, from which you would need to import the codes into Lyyti after the event.
- Select if you want to show the participant type on the ticket. On the example above, the participant type is "VIP", printed below the QR code.
- There is a field for a short text of 100 characters on the ticket. Use this for advertising or as a note to the participant. You can leave the field empty, as on the sample ticket above.
- When using registration with a companion, the main participant will receive both tickets: their own and their companions. When using group registration, group's contact person will receive all tickets of the group.
Send the ticket via email to the participants
You can use Lyyti's communications section to send the ticket to the participants via email. When doing this, you add the ticket via the personification Participant information:
From the Participant info-section you can choose to add the mobile ticket. Double-clicking the Link to mobile ticket-personification will let you edit the shown text for the ticket.
Send a mobile ticket via text message
If you have asked the participants for their mobile numbers, you can send the mobile ticket through the text message function of Lyyti. Opening the ticket requires that the participant has a mobile phone that can open links, so consider your target audience for this message. We recommend that you also send the ticket per email, as instructed above.
When writing the text message, from the Participant info-section you can choose to add the mobile ticket. (The text in the picture has been moved for clarification)
Note! When using registration with a companion, the main participant will only receive their own mobile ticket. In other words, if you wish to use/send a mobile ticket for the companion, you should ask a mobile phone number from the companion as well. However, in group registration, the contact person will receive all mobile tickets of the groups participants.
Please note that text messages are separately billed. (Read more on text messages.)
