What is the Lyyti Event app?
The Lyyti event app is an application directed to the participants of the event. If the feature has been activated by the event organiser, the registered participant can see the event in their event app. The participant can find their personal link to their registration from the app and also their ticket and the link to the event websites to learn more about the event. The Lyyti event app is available in all of the app stores.
In order to start using the feature it needs to be activated in the event and the participant needs to have the app on their mobile device and create a username in order to connect the event app to the events they have registered to. Please note the the Event App is a place where the participant can see all events they have registered from multiple different organisers.
Activate the Lyyti Event App in your event
In order to activate the Lyyti Events app follow the following steps:
- Make sure that you use the standard question of email address on the registration page. Only the standard question will be linked to the event app. Remember to ask email information from all participants (companion and group members as well)
- Open The event app settings on the left menu under events
- Activate > Show event on Lyyti Event app
- Choose if you want to activate the chat function or not. The Event chat enables participants to interact with each other in the application.
- Add an image for the event and an event description. The description and the image will be visible in the app for the participant. Tip! Create a picture outside of Lyyti that includes the logo of your event!

Select which features will we added to the event: The mobile ticket and/or the event website. If you are unsure how to link an event website to your event check more instructions here: Link an Event website to your event
Note that tickets will only be visible for the participant. In group events this means that each group member and the companion would need to upload the app for themselves as well.

- Communicate clearly to the participants that the Lyyti Events application is active in your event and instruct them to upload the app. Participants can find more instructions in this article: The Lyyti Event App for participants
Frequently asked questions about the Event App
❓A participant cannot see the event in their Event App and contact the organiser asking for more instructions
- Please check that the Event App is activated in your event.
- Check that the registration page uses the standard question of email on the registration page: Standard question vs. self-created question
- Please check with what email address the participant has registered with. The event is only visible in the event app if the email address the participant has created the Event App login with and the registration email address are the same
- As the event organiser you can also check the status of the participant. The participant needs to have the status registered or attending to show on the Event App.
❓How can I instruct participants to upload the Event App?
- You are welcome to share the support article to your participants to offer them quick help to upload the application. The help material can be shared for instance in the confirmation message.
❓I have an group event but a contact person is contacting me because they cannot see the event in the Event App. What do I do?
- In group events, contact persons are not counted as participants unless the contact person has also registered to the event as an participant. Therefore in group events where the contact person is not also added as a registered participants, the contact person cannot see the event in the Event App. Only the participants in the group can see their information through the app.
