To create a survey, go to Surveys and click Add new survey.
- Give a name to the survey.
- Choose the survey's default language. You can add more languages at a later stage.
- Finally, click Add new survey to start creating questions.
- You can add other languages to the survey for the respondent to choose from. Remember to translate the questions!
- Select a layout i.e. the visual side of your survey. You can use all the registration page layouts found in Materials > Layouts.
- As a default, the survey's name is added at the beginning of the survey as a notice text. Take a moment to personalise the text to welcome and inform the respondent about the survey!
- Start creating the survey and Add questions (see instructions on question types).
- Edit thank-you page: personalise the text respondents will see after they've answered to your survey.
- Settings: Edit the survey name, status (draft/published) anonymity settings, link the survey with events and set the survey's opening and closing dates.
- Close the survey without saving the changes.
- Save the survey and remain on the page to keep editing it, or Save and close to save changes and exit the survey to the Surveys page.
