Do you have a multi-day event and you desperately need calendar note for each subevent?

It is unfortunately not possible to have several calendar marks in one event in Lyyti because the automatic calendar note that can be added in Lyyti uses the information given on the event information page. Therefore the calendar mark can only have one specific time. We don't recommend using the automatic calendar notes if you have a multi-day event. 

Calendar notes for multi-day events with event websites

It is possible to create several calendar notes on the event websites. You can create multiple different calendar notes in the agenda-section of event websites and guide participants to upload the correct calendar note from there.

Calendar notes for multi-day events with participant types

If you don't want to use the event website in your event we recommend creating different calendar notes outside of Lyyti. The calendar notes are then uploaded to the material bank and added to the event so that each participant will receive the correct calendar note in their confirmation after registering. The calendar note is sent according to which date (participant type) they have selected.

Create several calendar notes with the help of these steps:

1. First you'll need an event with participant types. This way you'll be able to tailor confirmation messages according to participant types.
2. Create a calendar notes e.g. in Outlook
3. Download the calendar marks as a .ics-files to your computer
4. Save the files to Lyyti's material bank
5. Add notice texts to the registration page (and hide them by removing all languages from the questions). Add them to the according participant type. Add an appropriate calendar mark link from Lyyti's material bank to the notice text.
6. Tick that these notice texts are shown on the participants confirmation message
7. Confirmation message will only show the notice text which is shown to the specific participant type. Participant can download the calendar mark to themselves and add it to their calendar.
