How to link an Event website to your event
An event website can be linked to an event in two different ways: create the event website under the event or connect an already made event website to the event. You can only link one event website per event.
Create an Event website in the event
- Create an event from the events tab or open an already existing event
- Open the event website section on the left side of the page
- Create an Event website
After creating the event website under the event, you can edit the event website when you have the event open in Lyyti and click on the left side of the page: event webpage. Read more about how you can create and build an event website here.
Link an already existing Event website to an event
If you have already created the Event website and you wish to connect it to an event later it can be done by opening the event in Lyyti and then going to event website section on the left menu. Instead of creating an new event website move to select an existing event website and connect.
Add the personal event website registration link
When using the personal registration link, the participant will open their personal registration link with pre-filled information like their e-mail address. We always recommend using the personal registration link when the invitations are sent from Lyyti.
You can only add the personal registration link to the Event website if it's linked to an event in Lyyti.
The personal links need to be added to two different places: to the invitation message and to your event website.
- Open the invitation in the email editor
- Add personal event website link from the personalisation links
- Save
- Open the event website and edit or add the registration button
- Change the link type to personal / open registration link
- Save
Add the open event website registration link
If you want to use the open link in the invitation, that is also possible. Then when you add the event website link to your invitation anyone can register through the registration button and add themselves to the participant's list.
Follow these steps to add the open event website link to your invitation:
- Open the invitation in the email editor
- Add open event website link from the personalisation links
- Save
- Open the event website and edit or add the registration button
- Change the link type to personal / open registration link
- Save
