Lyyti Next Gen will be an easy-to-use, flexible and data-driven software doing the heavy lifting for event organisers. Right now it is still under constant development, however, meaning all the things you are used to being able to do in the classic Lyyti are not there yet, nor necessarily will be there for some time. But rest assured, we are not planning to get rid of Lyyti Classic anytime soon, meaning you can still use the same old Lyyti in the same way you are used to.
At this stage we recommend you use Lyyti Next Gen only for small, internal events. While the Next Gen is already technically capable of handling bigger numbers of participants than Lyyti Classic, bigger size usually means more complexity, and many of the more complex features are still lacking in Next Gen.
Pros of the current Next Gen
- Branding. From the very beginning you will have the new branding tools at your disposal, meaning you will have better control than ever on the look and feel of the registration process of your participants.
- New ways of setting email send times and registration times. Email sendouts can be scheduled in relation to event start and end times along with a participant's registration time. Registration times can also be set to open and close in relation to event publishing, event start and event end times.
- Event templates. All users have access to the two ready-made event templates that have registration page questions and communications flow already in place.
