Paytrail only allows one settlement account number to be added per Paytrail user account. Lyyti only allows one Paytrail account per one Lyyti organisation. This creates the following framework:
- You are limited to one settlement bank account only
- If the use case absolutely requires having multiple accounts, this can be done by creating an organisation structure for your Lyyti-environment
This would mean having separate Lyyti organisations for each entity that requires a settlement account of their own. Please contact customer support for more information: help (a) lyyti.com
Guide for using a single settlement account to route settlements to their corresponding accounts
Using one Paytrail settlement account is a perfectly viable solution even if your organisation would require the funds to be distributed to separate accounts. In order to do this, please see through the following steps:
- Paytrail settlements are paid to a bank account of your choice
- Refer to the settlement report for a breakdown of the settlement. This way you can keep track of how much sales contribution each event has had.
- Route the funds according to your needs based on the settlement report
- Eg. “Marketing seminar afterwork 2021” is an event held by your marketing department and they require their share of the settlement to be paid on a separate account
- Download the settlement report and verify the amount of sales and costs that are contributed by this event in question
- Make a payment from the settlement account to the marketing departments bank account
- The settlement report is used as a receipt for both transactions
