1. New user interface: what and why?
For Lyyti's new user interface (UI), we have built a new navigation bar and unified page styles to match the current fresh and clean Lyyti design. We'll introduce a two-layered navigation bar: at the top you'll find all main features, such as Events, Questionnaires and organisation settings, where as the left menu shows more detailed options to the main categories, for example the event specific menu.
In addition to the navigation bar, we've modified Lyyti's visual side: we've added a bit more air to it to bring freshness and also unified the UI's design. But don't worry: most of the pages' functions can be found in the same familiar places! We've updated some of the terminology to make it even easier to understand what everything does. And of course, some pages have undergone bigger operations and changes to make pages more intuitive to use. The confirmation page is one good example.
Not everything is visible to the users, however. Many parts of the technical side have been updated, so that we can offer our users some new features that weren't possible with the old techniques. For example, you can now navigate quickly between events with a search function found at the top of each page in Lyyti.
2. When can I start using the new UI?
The new UI has been available for organisations' admin users already for a few months, but all Lyyti users will have access to the new UI on October 1st, 2018.
3. What do I need to do to start using the new UI?
To start using the new UI, simply click New navigation at the top of the page in Lyyti. If you cannot see this option, please contact our customer service help ( a ) lyyti.com.
4. Is the new UI mandatory?
At first, the new UI is optional and you can decide whether you want to use it or not. On November 1st we'll make the new UI default for all - however, you can still return to the old UI. At the beginning of December 2018 the new UI will become mandatory to all, as we say our goodbyes to the old UI and focus on the new improved Lyyti and continue developing it further.
5. Can I go back to the old UI?
Yes, for a while. The old UI can be used until the end of November, but in December 2018 the new UI will take over and we'll let go of the old for good.
6. How do I know which UI I am using at the moment?
The main differences can be seen at the top navigation bar in Lyyti. No matter where you are in Lyyti, the new navigation always shows the LYYTI logo, the Create button (plus sign) and Search function (magnifying glass), as well as the main top categories (Events, Questionnaires etc.). In addition, at the top right corner you'll find your organisation's name and Steve the octopus where you can find an additional menu (My account, Logout...).
Another thing that may help you distinguish between the old and the new UI is, that in the old UI, the left menu always shows you the Start page, My Events, Archive etc., where as in the new UI, a menu appears on the left once you are inside one of the main categories, for example once you've selected an event.
7) How can I give feedback of the new UI?
Once you're using the new UI, at the rigth of the page you'll see a green Feedback button. Use it to give feedback of the exact view or page you're in. If you want to point out a specific spot on the page, first select an emoji to describe how you feel and then click the arrow button to select an element on the page.

8. Are there any trainings regarding the new UI?

9. Where have you informed users about the renewal of the UI?
We have informed about the new upcoming UI in our newsletters via e-mail, directly once you login to Lyyti with different pop-ups and also in social media (Facebook & Instagram), and also in our blog.
