Lyyti’s participant type feature lets you manage different participant or ticket types under one Lyyti event. Example: At a trade fair, participant types can be used to divide the participants into organisers, exhibitors, speakers and guests. This way you can send different messages to the different participant groups and tailor their registration pages to meet your needs. The event is still managed as a whole and each participant is included in the statistics, regardless of participant type.
If you use more than one marketing channel to market your event, you can also use participant types to measure the performance of those channels. In this case you would create participant types for each marketing channel, mark each type as not public (see instructions here) and create a separate registration link for each one. This way you could easily keep track of how many registrations each marketing channel yields.
